We had a really enjoyable visit to Papas Fish and Chips in Cleethorpes. The fish and chips were cooked beautifully – the haddock was fresh and tasty, and there was no greasy aftertaste at all, which made it even better. The mushy peas were lovely too and complemented the meal well.A special mention to Lesley, who served us – she was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome.The restaurant was reasonably clean, although it could have been a little better in places. Pricing felt fair overall: just under £38 for two medium haddock and chips, peas, tartar sauce, and a pot of tea each. It’s not the cheapest option, but everything was freshly cooked and really nice, so it felt worth it.Overall, a very good experience and somewhere we’d happily visit again.
