From entering and being greeted by Darren the whole experience was excellent. We went around 4:15pm so wasn't too busy. We had the senior Haddock and Chips they were delicious, freshly cooked crispy batter and proper home made chips. We had the choice of a dessert but to be honest we didn't have room so in replacement they let us have another pot of tea. Yorkshire tea bags so it was a good brew. Darren was so helpful, my phone battery had died and had my train ticket on and he very kindly charged it for me. What a star. He is an asset to Papa's he is very welcoming to everyone, even checking the waiting staff that they were ok. It did get very busy later but he always had a smile and a greeting. We would definitely go there again.
