I’ve used Parker Cars for years and always been very pleased with the service. All that changed two days ago when I needed to get my daughter to Moorfields Eye hospital for an emergency appointment. I explained to the driver and asked him to get us there as quickly as possible. When I realised that I could see the Regent’s Canal from the window and a signpost was directing us to Kensal Rise I asked where on earth he was taking us. I had to give him the postcode of the hospital to get us on the correct route. The driver phoned the call handler to complain that he’d been given the wrong destination but he should have known he was going away from the City. Yesterday I called to speak to the manager 3 times. He didn’t even show me the courtesy of calling. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and I am very upset that nobody has even bothered to apologise.
