The organization, detailed explanations, and focus on high-yield pattern recognition enabled me to grasp challenging concepts and gain confidence. My score decreased after taking this course, and I learned a lot of incorrect information as well. I'm extremely frustrated, and my friends feel the same way. I'm exploring legal options because I genuinely feel harmed by this course. I failed Step 1 after this course—yes, my score dropped several points when comparing my previous and subsequent assessments. However, I eventually passed after completing over 10 practice exams—that was my key to success. It's all about doing countless practice questions. Additionally, I don't recall any of the individuals who wrote those glowing reviews. Who are they? Are they genuine? I spent 5 consecutive weeks in the same virtual classroom with the same group, and I can see the names on the digital materials. I've never encountered some of those names before. Did they even participate in the course with me?
My time at the PASS Program has been truly life-changing. The overall experience has been great. The program really breaks down medicine in a way where you are able to organize and understand medicine differently. He empowers you and helps you believe in yourself, and your capability to know the medicine the correct way. The testimonials throughout the program also kept you motivated and remind yourself that you can do it and not to give up!!!
This isn't a traditional board prep program. If you come expecting the same thing as other board prep courses, you may be in for a rude awakening. It's a boot camp for rewiring your brain to make connections and master the basics. You can read about patterns and algorithms all day but Dr. Francis and PASS will help you understand how it all comes together so you don't have to memorize a million details. Unlearning takes time so I wouldn't suggest to anybody to take their exam right after the program, but, because of this program, I was able to think and reason my way into passing STEP 1 and STEP 2. This program will give you the tools you need to succeed, but you have to trust the process.
The PASS Program is life changing. You learn great strategies and learn how to organize the concepts you’ve learned in a way that is actually easier to retrieve. Everyone here believes in your success and are invested in your future. This program has shaped me in a way that attending medical school alone wouldn’t do.
