I bought the monthly version of a password recovery tool for an Excel file, unaware that I was also signed up for a free trial of another product that converted to a paid subscription after a week. I never requested this free trial and didn't use the additional product at all. If it's a free trial, it should remain free and not turn into a paid version without consent. Such tactics for offering free trials are misleading. On a positive note, the Excel tool worked well.
