The idea of Patreon is good but the execution is terrible. I made the mistake of joining for a year (A$100.00 plus currency fees. I wanted to download pdfs of chosen music. After log-on it directed me to their membeship tab and invited me to pay again. It indicated that I would be charged again next month after already paying for a year. I could never find the music I wanted to download. After cancelling on the same day as joining and asking for a refund I received a message saying that next year's subscription will be cancelled. This organisation is about as close to a scam as you can get but managed by a bunch of incompetants.
