To offer some context:
I felt I should post this review as my Pavers UK Customer Sevices experience was so surreal & yet IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED THIS WAY!😂😂😂😂😂
I live in Cyprus & have seven pairs of Pavers shoes which are all a size 6 -EU 39- & fit perfectly.
But last time when I ordered from their UK website: Order No: P1005679668, I noticed that the reviews for the shoes I chose suggested you size up as the model comes up small.
Fair enough, as I wanted to avoid a costly international return, I took the advice & sized up to a 7-EU 40.
The shoes were ordered & arrived here in Cyprus.
They are far too short -I estimate about 2 sizes-and my toes are crushed!
I called Pavers Customer Services to inform them that the shoe sizing on this model was incorrect.
I was finally connected to a rather combative 'jobsworth' who also seemed a rather distracted agent.
I informed her of the problem, citing that I was already the proud owner of several correctly sized pairs of Pavers shoes, but that these, latest shoes were not one, but TWO sizes too small.Furthermore, I explained that, based on customer reviews I sized up, yet they were still far too small.
*She replied that Pavers could take no blame for customer reviews....😂... ( I am not sure whether my message had penetrated)
Pause to gawp in disbelief🤭
*And she furthermore informed me that Pavers could not be held responsible for differences in the size-ergo the length of their shoes....😂🤔
Er, really? Are they not shoemakers?..😕
When I spluttered that, surely size matters, she said that, no, length did not directly relate to size....🤭😐😂
She added, that she felt that I was simply angling for a free return...
I told her that I had no intention of returning the offending shoes ( honestly, just too costly & too much hassle-I will give them to a friend)
At this, she was clearly nonplussed...And thankfully offered no more pearls of wisdom to further sully the company's good name😂
Not the sharpest of agents to be sure....🤔
I initially called direct to complain, but those feelings of frustration, led to disbelief and finally the desire to laugh out loud and GAWK at the sheer incompetence!!!!
Just how ..er... ineffectual can a company representative be??
So, would you order from Pavers UK after that??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
