As Debbie Harry sang, Picture This: Three years ago I bought two pairs of Viktor & Rolf frames from Specsavers and had them fitted with my prescription. Bizarrely, one pair vanished two weeks ago. How this happened remains a mystery. I contacted Specsavers who told me that the frames are discontinued. I moaned about this to a pal in the USA who loves shopping and searching online. I have no patience for either of those pastimes. To my immense surprise he e-mailed me that he had found a pair of 'my' frames on Peep Eyewear, and sent me the link. Five minutes later I had bought them - and today they arrived via 48 hours tracked Royal Mail. Excellently packaged, and in a kooky triangular spectacles box.
