I was trying to find my work place pension taken out in 1996.It was first with London & Manchester who were bought out by Friends Provident and then taken over by Royal London and Aviva. I had all of the information with me also the policy numbers. many phone calls, emials, setting up accounts to trace lost pensions, but none would admit to having it, I was adviced to seek help from Pensionwise, after leaving my details someone called me a few days later and recomended that I use Pension Pie. after some hesitancy and I had no other options left , payment was made to Pension Pie. An account was set upwith my details, A few weeks later I was getting letters back from enquires made by Pension Pie, one of them from Aviva saying thankyou for updating my address, and the next letter showing my Pension update.now I already had an account with aviva and had filled up online forms for tracing a lost pension and got no response.Pension Pie had sent the letter to the right corner of Aviva to trigger a response, after 24 years a significant amount was there and no correspondence with me although Aviva had my address. It was well worth paying Pension Pie to trace this. I can recommend them.
