I went to PeopleLooker to look up an email. I thought I had made sure to specify only the one time lookup but I got notification that I was being charged for a subscription. I immediately contacted them and a refund was processed for me within a couple of hours. PeopleLooker seems to be an honest site that is not out to grab money. I would recommend using them, just be sure you are not subscribing unless that is what you want to do.
