I bought the multi-action overnight intensive firming mask - on recommendation. I currently look like I have severe sunburn on my neck/throat area. I started using this product a number of weeks ago and began to notice redness and itching on my face. I initially thought it was a cold snap of weather and I had been outdoors a lot (not a skin issue I'd ever suffered before). This got worse and then the extreme redness and hot, itching on my neck. I stopped using everything - make up, any perfumed products and bought (at great expense) moisturizer for extremely sensitive skin. Everything calmed down. I re-introduced the products I had used previously in a very gradual manner, waiting to check for any reaction. Last night I used the perricone MD overnight mask and had to get up through the night to wash my face and neck as it was so itchy and the red area has returned, with a vengeance. I am 62 and have used facial skin care since my teens - many different brands over the years. I have NEVER suffered a reaction like this. Looking at the product list I can only guess the citronellol may be responsible. I have used insect repellent containing citronella and never had any issue. Who knows. All I know is I have a very expensive face cream which is going in the bin.
