Buyer beware.I placed an order with Perromart.SG on the 28th of Jan and received a confirmation email for my orders on the same day. Delivery is stated to be within 3-7 working days. They emailed me on the 21st of Feb to state that they will be cancelling my order with full refund of $244 via crediting of store credits. (Valid for 6months only)I have attempted to use the store credits. Imagine my surprise when I found out that only $25 can be applied at a time and I need to spend $25 of additional money in order to avoid the shipping charges! That means I have to spend an additional $250 in 10 separate orders just to use up my store credits of $244. There is no guarantee that these new orders will be fulfilled. How do you buy from a store that is perpetually out of stock & unresponsive?! They could keep taking orders, not fulfill them and keep the money in form of store credits. Effectively, they are using my money to fund their cash flow.It's not my duty to fund their cash flow and bad business practice to freeze my money for non delivery of items. It is borderline fraud. I have also written in to ask for a full refund on the 9th of March. A reply is promised within 72 hours and there’s been none forthcoming to date. In the meantime, while all these were ongoing, there have been massive sales ongoing at Perromart in the name of warehouse stock clearance. Do I even need to spell out how many ways they were wrong? This whole episode really left a strong distaste for the company. I will not be ordering from them ever again. For those stuck in a similar situation, my advice will be to call your bank to ask for a chargeback.
