I had all my furry ones covered under this insurance and when they were about to reach age 10 I was told that I should upgrade their policy so that they can get better coverage through their life time plans but they did not tell me is that once I upgraded the policy any illness that they had covered in the previous policy would become a pre existence. So, very deceiving of course now they don't want to pay for anything that they know that my furry ones had before. Don't let them fool you. I just received an answer and still pet first is so misleading. I got a life time plan for my furry ones so that all chronic illness would be covered what they don't tell you is that if your furry one has already suffered any chronic disease before upgrading to the lifetime plan which by the way is very expensive then they don't cover it which I find it to be terrible since it is the same insurance company and they should not make a new policy to make everything a pre existence but just an upgrade.
