Sent a text by petworld in November saying I've bought 8 bags of premium dog food from them at a cost of nearly 500 euro and my next purchase would come with a free bag. Went to the shop in tallaght lidl complex and purchased my next bag, showed the text to the store employee and she said il have to get confirmation from head office to verify the text is genuine 🤔. Like I'm some sort of scammer. She couldn't get through to her own head office. I said it doesn't matter, il come back again. She took my details and said they'd be in touch. Never heard a thing back. I've since bought 3 bags which brings me to 11 bags and still no free bag. Been back to the shop twice to enquire where my free bag is and just get stonewalled with apathy negativity and total disinterest in my enquiry. Just to add insult there's big picture on the shop front with a lovely looking dog saying buy nine get a free bag 🙄. Avoid this shop like the plague, not the shop floor staff fault. They couldn't have been more helpful. I'd put it down to overpaid piss poor middle managers who don't give a toss about the business. Just in it for the paycheck 🐕🦺🤕
