It was a good experience, want to add that the time limit should be holded or paused on a website if a student gets caught into something that occupies the whole day and when can't study during that time. Like I got busy with things right after I enrolled for the course and requested if we can hold the course time duration to get back on my studies

Simple and Informative

While I haven't taken the PTCE yet as I'm just finishing the course, these lessons were very informative while still being very easy to digest. I prefer learning from visual mediums, so having the bulk of the course be in slideshows that often showed categories separated by colored text boxes was perfect for me. I do wish that some of the required readings were as "user-friendly" as, despite a few exceptions, they were often big blocks of text. I do recognize however, that this is due to the required readings being created by different authors who formatted it more as a textbook. Though it would be a larger task, having an expanded section to help break down these required readings could be beneficial. I also wish there was a way to view old test scores after the fact, since once I navigated away from the page, I would have to retake the test all over with no history to previous scores. I do very much appreciate the sections given on missed questions that explain the correct answer, however. One last thing that I would've loved to have was a way to save the slideshows from the lessons to have offline. I'm in an area with very spotty internet, and it was often disheartening to have times where I was unable to access the material, as the Google Drive files were set to be unable to save offline. I would've liked to be able to save the slideshows and refer back to them for notes more freely.That all being said, everything else was well organized and easy to learn from. I appreciate Dr. Emmel consistently taking the time to send a message as I completed modules, asking if there was anything I needed and offering to help with any questions and study preparations. Thank you for helping provide this opportunity.

Organized, Efficient, Great Value!…

Great course for multiple types of learners. Audio modules, reading and quizzes help students to gauge their learning. Helpful study tips are provided; virtual class videos are now being uploaded to resource section so students can view anytime. Information is well organized and thorough. The final exam for course completion can be taken over and over pulling from 1000s of practice bank questions to prepare students for the PCTE. Highly recommend this course; especially if you are new to healthcare!

Great Program, I learned so much!!!!!!

This program was amazing and I learned a great deal of information. I really enjoyed the extra readings and required readings, the flashcards, the slides, and the activities. I would recommend having an option to print the flashcards for easy studying and being able to print the slides for easy studying as well. Also, maybe having a payment plan if the price is alittle steep for some people and maybe purchasing a month by month renewal if you need more time to complete the program, instead of having to purchase another whole six months. Overall, the program was great and I had a great experinece learning new and old information. I would definitely do this program again if I ever needed to and I loved that the instructor kept in contact with me throughout the whole program.

Great experience and worth the cost

I was going through a training program and fairly near completion when the national chain I worked at went out of buiness. Most of my training has been hands on, and little time was allowed to get through coursework. While I had the necessary hours worked to apply for the national exam, I did not feel ready to take it. I chose to start this program to help gain the knowledge I was missing to pass the test. And in my state, this course meets the requirement to apply for the exam, so I did not need to prove I had worked the necessary hours. Working at my own pace has been helpful, and I was able to gain a position at an independent pharmacy at a higher starting wage since they didn't have to pay for coursework. Overall I am happy with the decision to take this course.

Well-Structured Prep That Made a Difference

Dr. Emmel responds really quickly to questions and concerns along with doing Virtual Classrooms for extra guidance on students who feel overwhelmed or lost. This program really brakes certain topics down for someone who has little to no knowledge to understand. The math section which is known to be the most intimidating section was fairly simple after watching the videos and tons of practice.
