We got a call from Phase Energy about the fact that they were in the area and could supply solar panels and batteries at very good prices. As this was something I was considering. I asked for a quote, which turned out to be competitive. Although we already had solar panels installed, the offer was attractive enough that we decided to replace the entire system—despite the existing panels being only 11 years old—and to maximise the use of our roof space. We also ordered three Tesla batteries.Overall, the installation process was handled well and the service was generally good. However, there were delays with the Tesla battery installation due to supply issues on Tesla’s side.Unfortunately, there was a bit of an hiccup after installation. Tesla delivered their battery pack in large black packaging, which was left on our drive. Phase energy said the responsibility to collect the packaging was Tesla’s but Tesla didn’t turn up and since I did not have a contract with Tesla expected Phase energy to deal with it. The packaging was removed after about 2 months.Otherwise we are happy with everything.
