Having read several poor reviews about initial offers being drastically reduced, I decided to persevere with the sale on the basis that I knew the 2 phones that I was selling were in immaculate condition, with casing and screens having been protected throughout their life, and as such I felt confident that my phones met the description required. How wrong was I! Apparently there were internal faults that "wouldn't be noticed" unless you had the equipment that Phonebox had. I rejected the first offer, and this was then increased. I rejected the second offer as well, and then was told that the employee I was speaking with, would personally increase the offer from his own pocket. At this point I weighed up the revised offer against the offers that others had made, plus the fact I would need to pay £10.00 per phone for their return. With the hassle factor added in, I decided to accept these offers. So I received £480.00 instead of the original £672.00 offered on the website. I will never deal with this Company again. They lure you in, by offering over-inflated prices, and then eventually after smore than one revised offer, you will receive something more in line with their competitors' offers. I have been selling two year old phones to similar companies for a number of years now and have never experienced a transaction as poor as this one.However payment was fairly swift, once the sales were agreed, hence the exrtra star awarded.
