Hi, I'm in the EU, but I hope this works for everyone: Photobucket has now sent this email where you must opt in to their biometric AI-scraping and data selling, or delete your account. My free account got deactivated and there was no way to access the files. So I decided to delete. The start screen after the login shows two paid options. At the bottom there is the delete link. I clicked that. Another paid plan was offered. I clicked delete again. And lo and behold, on the last page there appeared the option to request a takeout link for my files! This worked like a charm. They emailed the link instantly and I could download a zip file with my photos, nicely sorted into the same folders as on photobucket, and then continue the deletion process on their website. They also tell you that you have 30 days to email their support to un-delete your account, just in case. Also if you have lots of content there, they might email you several links, so just wait until everything has arrived. So if you still have pics there like family memories etc., it is worth trying this route. If this takeout link doesn't appear for you, you can still cancel the deletion process and contact their support. Good luck everybody!
