The package arrived quickly and met my expectations, except the pears were nearing spoilage. As a first-time buyer, I wasn't sure how the shipping would go, so I ordered early. I should have scheduled it for Christmas instead of Thanksgiving, but I wanted to ensure it arrived at least a week before Christmas. I didn't realize the pears would be so ripe. After waiting about 10 days to open one, I was glad I ordered extra pears to replace the bad ones in the gifts I purchased. I will also give the gifts now, well before Christmas, to ensure they receive them before they go bad. Out of six, about two were bruised and had large spots.
