They randomly demand documentation after you’ve already initiated a transaction and hold your money hostage without any accountability.In my case, I sent money and was later told they needed my travel plan documents — something that was never mentioned upfront. To make it worse, they waited until the last possible day to inform me that I had to call them to get the transaction approved. Completely unacceptable.Their customer service is one of the worst I’ve experienced. No other money transfer service behaves like this. Even after providing every necessary detail, Placid finds ways to create delays, confusion, and frustration.There’s zero transparency, zero consistency, and absolutely no urgency when it comes to your money.
