I did 5 weeks in Ghana and 3 weeks in Tanzania in october and november 2025. It was literally the best experience. I met some amazing people - many of whom im still in touch with now! I loved living in a group house and doing everything together.
we had great support from all the staff the whole time. i never felt worried or unsafe and there was always someone to talk to if i had questions or concerns.
I would highly recommend PMGY to anyone looking for a first solo travelling experience or wanting to go to a place thats difficult to travel alone in like Africa.
If you have any questions you want answered before you book your trip i recomend the zoom call or emailing with one of the coordinators. I did this before booking and it made me feel much better about all my questions.
