I did a lot of research before buying the Pococo. Our master bedroom is not huge but a decent size in this house so in the end I actually ended up buying both the Pococo and the Sega Flux. The Pococo was on sale and the Flux was on Ebay so I basically got two for the price of one. This is a good thing because these projectors look better, the smaller a room is. Probably 10x10 or 12x12 is max before they blur out on the edges. I have to start with the fact that Pococo sent me two Mars dics instead of a galaxy disc I ordered. I can not even get a customer service response let alone get my order fixed and its been about a month with multiple attempts. I would never buy directly through Pococo again. Maybe Amazon or a third party who has a better return policy but if they can’t fix something this simple, I have zero confidence if anything worse happens. Fortunately the projector works or I’d be much more disappointed. So to the review. If you are willing to take a chance that your projector arrives working and your order is correctly filled, I would say that for your money, it is a good buy. Its realistic and the fact that it is not cord bound makes it very easy and convenient to use. The color discs are quite a bit less clear and just don’t look as realistic and the themed discs have that and the fact that they are kind of repetitive going around in a circle. The Earth disc is the only exception and my wife does like the jellyfish one. The black and white ones are excellent. It is less realistic that the Sega Flux, but it makes more of an impression because of it. As to the Flux, I really like its realistic starscape, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it personally. The shooting star feature is nice but not realistic so meh. Together they are great but here is the thing. I think I am going to end up using high quality fluorescent paint and put the stars up on my ceiling that way. I did this in my old home and if done well and not rushed its awesome and always there. After getting these two machines here is my bottom line- they are a nice on/off thing for effect but in the end not what I was looking for. If I had it all to do again I would try a projector that can project moving scenes rather than just the simple circular motion. When you get a themed disc, you really understand this as they simply are the same figures going around in a circle - Like you’re a baby in a crib. I wonder if I would find that disappointing as well though. Anyway, I’m ordering paint next week because I blew the budget already.
