I conducted extensive research before deciding on the Pococo. Our master bedroom isn't overly large, but it's a reasonable size, so I ultimately purchased both the Pococo and another model. The Pococo was discounted, and I found the other model online, allowing me to get two for the price of one. This was beneficial since these projectors perform better in smaller spaces, ideally up to around 10x10 or 12x12 feet before the edges start to blur.
I must mention that I received two Mars discs instead of the galaxy disc I ordered. I've attempted to contact customer support multiple times over the past month without any response, which has been frustrating. I wouldn't consider buying directly from the company again; perhaps a third-party seller with a better return policy would be a safer option. If they cannot handle a simple order issue, I doubt their ability to resolve more significant problems. Thankfully, the projector itself functions well, or I would be more upset.
Regarding the review, if you're willing to risk that your projector arrives in working order and that your order is correct, it's a decent purchase for the price. It's quite realistic, and the cordless feature makes it convenient. However, the color discs are less clear and don’t appear as realistic, while the themed discs tend to be repetitive. The Earth disc stands out, and my partner enjoys the jellyfish one. The black and white discs are excellent. While it may not be as realistic as the other model, it leaves a stronger impression. I appreciate the realistic starscape of the other model but wouldn't pay full price for it. The shooting star feature is nice but feels unrealistic. Together, they are enjoyable, but I’m considering using high-quality fluorescent paint to create a starry ceiling instead. I previously did this in my old home, and when executed well, it looks fantastic and is always there. After using these two projectors, I've concluded that they're nice for occasional effects, but they aren't what I initially wanted. If I had to do it over, I would look for a projector that can display moving scenes instead of just simple circular motion. The themed discs really drive this point home, as they just show the same figures moving in a circle, reminiscent of being a baby in a crib. I wonder if I would find that disappointing too. In any case, I'm ordering paint next week since I've already exceeded my budget.
