It's impossible to recommend Poetic Endings too highly - they are a very special team who made one of life's most difficult moments much easier to bear.Louise was absolutely wonderful, from the moment we first spoke on the phone when it was clear that my relative's life was coming to a close, to the end of a calm and perfectly judged service. She took us through the process so carefully and gently, and seemed always to be at the end of the phone or email, standing by to help solve problems and help us with anything that we were finding difficult in the days immediately following our bereavement, when we felt somewhat unmoored. Nothing was too small or too much trouble.There were complexities in our family situation and Louise dealt with them with tact and care. I was able to process the emotional side of things much more easily because I felt completely confident that everything practical was in hand, that she would prompt me if I missed anything, that the funeral itself would go off smoothly - which it very much did.Louise recommended Sophie Duval as a celebrant who would be able to navigate our complex situation, and we're profoundly grateful that she did. Sophie was truly wonderful - she just 'got' everything, and was so calm, reassuring and patient when we were trying to think through how the service should be.
