Based on my experience of the IOPC I would not credit this authority with a 1* review. After being accused of criminal damage to my own property by a corrupt firm of solicitors based in the Midlands who stole my property and worked hand in hand with other authorities, I found myself having to attend bail three times a week along with seven court hearing. The firm of solicitors acted as a witness and a claimant, this was a conflict of interest – I was set up from the start! West Midlands police officers failed to sign statements and get witnesses to sign the statements which were used in court by the CPS. The Police acted on an “electric” arrest warrant that was never provided when requested. Police documented there was NO key evidence within the case and a statement by an alleged witness indicated that the crime was premeditated. Yet when I put a complaint to the IPCC which is now the IOPC neither of these high authorities didn’t want to take any action and, in their opinion, there was “no evidence of misconduct”. The IOPC is solely there to cover up the corrupt actions of the police. Despite going through the appeals procedure and complaining to many other higher authority bodies, I am still trying to get justice today. I now suffer with anxiety and concern that I will end up with further false charges against me, or jailed or even my life being threatened for whistleblowing on the police and many more higher authorities. I’ll leave you with some food for thought, ask yourself why was the IPCC was replaced with the IOPC?... Thanks for reading, good luck with your own case. Johnny
