Even when I was at sea for 7 months during the winter they were showing my boat. Everyone I dealt with - from the local agent to the closing agent in Florida - was professional. Mine was a hard boat to sell, but they got it done and didn't waste my time.They photographed it. Listed it online. Showed it. When it came time, they handled the transaction efficiently and thoroughly. A point of note: After fully researching POP Yachts when trying to find a broker, I realized their business model opens them up to being scammed by buyers- people who try to cut deals with the owners behind the agent's back for a lower cost. I've seen these unscrupulous buyer's crappy reviews... use your BS-meter when reading these reviews- it's mostly just sour-grapes.Also, as a seller, I listed my boat higher than the market would support at that moment in time... and the fee they earn is based on that original listing price. As I lowered my price, their fee stayed the same. I'll reiterate - they did a good job and got it done and good for them; but you might want to take the time to discuss the initial listing price with the agent for their feedback- it could speed your sale and put that money in your pocket sooner, rather than giving a good chunk of it away to the marina slowly in the form of moorage while your overpriced boat sits on the market.Ultimately, though, your motivation is the agent's mandate. Do what you can to help them out and be flexible. I will certainly use them again when I'm in the market to buy (or sell again) in the future.
