Enormous thanks to the to the Porter Dobson Solicitors and Advisors (PDS) team based in Taunton, with particular reference to Danielle Luke (Senior Paralegal) and Chris Green (Partner).Ours was a complex global probate case, and our family reached out to PDS 3 some years ago now, to seek guidance on this matter. We as a family (my sisters and I) were not looking to gain personally, but we were looking to protect our mother’s inheritance, who was not in a position to challenge the miscarriage herself.We first spoke to Chris, who offered expert free advice, and following this we elected to engage formally with PDS on a no win no fee basis. We were really reticence at first, however we came to the conclusion that we really had nothing to lose, as PDS were taking all the risk, and would their win percentage, should this materialise, which was modest under the circumstances. The most important aspect being that PDS came over as trustworthy, which was paramount to us.After introductions were made, it was Danielle who became the single point of contact (SPoC), and carried on the good work initiated by Chris.We had no idea how long the process would take, but we put our faith in PDS to do the right thing. This they did, and I like Danielle, became the SPoC for our family. Incredulous to think about it now, but this process would last over 3 years and entail literally hundreds of emails. Fortunately for us, Danielle did her best to manage our frustrations and expectations, so at least we could understand why the process was taking so long.
