Everyone was courteous and friendly and, human nature being what it is, that inspires confidence.I have one beef, and that is regarding communication. On two or three occasions, having sent material information, I found myself waiting, wondering, "did they receive that last email I sent?" Years ago, solicitors would acknowledge every incoming communication, to excess sometimes, but now, perhaps to keep fees down, acknowledgement has swung the other way. Surely the modern computer system can be triggered to electronically acknowledge communications at almost no additional cost to the practice?Apart from that (which at the time is quite unnerving) all was good.
