Solar fairy lights are very pretty, but after 2 years out of doors, they don't charge up very well. The yellow and green ones still light up if the day has been very sunny but there is no sign of the other 3 colours. I bought them because they were rated as ouitdoor lights, and they are sheltered by a trellis, so not totally exposed to weather. The charging panel is in full daylight.
