I recently completed a 21-day challenge with a small group, and it was such a rewarding experience. One of my favorite parts was sharing something I was grateful for each day. It really shifted my perspective and made me appreciate how much I have to be thankful for. This challenge also pushed me to increase my water intake—something I’ve always needed to work on. I found that protein water helped on some days, and adding lemon or cucumber kept things interesting. The movement aspect was simple but effective. Some days, the warm-up and walk were all I did, but it was still so much more than nothing! I built a great habit of walking daily, enjoying the fresh air, sometimes listening to music or a podcast, calling my mom, or even just walking in silence, which I surprisingly loved. I realized that multitasking too much during my walks made them less enjoyable, so I tried to stay present, though I did sneak in an occasional email.I’m feeling stronger every day and want to continue pushing myself with strength training. What made this challenge truly special was the support and encouragement from the group. No matter what roadblocks or challenges came up, knowing we were all in it together made such a difference.I would highly recommend doing a challenge like this and committing fully. The competitive side of me loves to win, but in the end, everyone who showed up for themselves was a winner. This experience was a great reminder that small, consistent steps can lead to lasting change.
