On arrival at my destination in Southeast Asia, the physical data SIM failed to work in my Google Phone, reporting it as unsupported (worked fine in an iPhone). I emailed Prepaid SIMs from the airport and they promptly responded by the time I got to the hotel and resolved the issue by issuing a replacement eSIM.
