I booked and fully paid a family holiday to Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa through Prestigia (booking reference 261225-FRAN-1753341).Just a 4 days before departure, the hotel informed me that bookings made via Hotelbeds are being placed on hold due to unresolved payment issues between Prestigia and its supplier. This puts a confirmed and fully paid reservation at risk for reasons entirely outside the customer’s control.I am travelling with two small children, with flights and transfers already booked and paid. This situation is causing severe stress and potential financial loss.What makes this even more unacceptable is that, despite repeated attempts, the phone numbers provided for customer support in Italy, Spain, and Germany appear to be unreachable or non-functional, leaving customers without any effective real-time support in a critical situation just days before departure. I also wrote 3 emails without any feedback labelling them as extremly urgent.Despite urgent emails and calls, I have not received any clear written confirmation that my confirmed booking is secured or that the supplier issue has been resolved. Customers should not bear the consequences of commercial disputes between a travel agency and its suppliers, nor be left without accessible customer support in emergencies.I am still awaiting immediate and formal confirmation that my fully paid booking will be honored.
