Today I returned some items back to Primark’s Northampton, only to be told that my Apple Pay number didn’t match the receipt, after telling them I only have one account my Apple Pay & my Apple Watch my physical card is all linked to that one account! She still told me that I used a different account and card 😤 I even showed her the transaction on my bank account. She’s still telling me that I didn’t use that account l! frustrated and not sure what was going on, I accepted what she was saying and took my items back home with me because the cashier was embarrassing me in front of other customers, I called my bank to find out what was going on and was told that I’d used myAccount purchase the items from Primark, after telling my friend what happened to me today she also had the same experience. The cashier telling her that her card number didn’t match the receipt.Please, if anyone else has experienced this, can they tell me because I think it’s a scam from Primark so they don’t have to give you refunds?
