I became a Prime Rishta member in Oct’23. They are a personalized matchmaking service. They claim they only send proposals of people who are their members too, and then they follow up personally with the proposals to see if there is mutual interest and share information. Since I became a member, they have been sending me a new proposal every week. But not even a single proposal so far resulted in a mutual match. Every week they keep saying that they shared my profile with the girl but she rejected it. They will also not give me a reason claiming that it is some privacy concern to do so. Now for the first few weeks I thought that it may just take some time as not every person will be interested in my profile. But when it kept going on for months without even a single girl accepting my profile, it was very suspicious. I had started to get my doubts that Prime Rishta is running some sort of scam but it was hard to prove. And then I got my proof! They sent me a profile of a girl whom I knew personally. I accepted her profile and asked them to proceed as usual. As always they came back in a few days and said she rejected my profile too. I enquired a bit more if they actually called her. And then they started saying normally they call but in this case the girl rejected my profile on email only. And all these were lies. I called the girl myself and asked her if she knows anything about Prime Rishta. She confirmed she is not their member and she did not even respond to them about my profile. So the reality is that they are just stealing people’s information from online dating sites and sharing them as proposals claiming they are their members. And they are not doing any work of reaching out to proposals and just running a big scam claiming personalized matchmaking services. Their matchmaker Diljit is a pathological shameless liar. Don’t be fooled by her extremely sweet talk, in fact if anything that should have been a give away for me a long time back that she is hiding her lies behind her sweet talk. Stay away from this company. It seems like a family run scam and I don't know how these shameless people live with themselves.
