All products purchased in this region are now Halal certified for flavors that don't include meat. I've found the original recipe in other stores, and the difference in taste is significant. I'm uncertain if the quality decline is related to the new Halal branding on the packaging, but there is definitely a noticeable drop in quality. The lack of alternatives and the religious branding on the packaging is quite shocking.
