Plumber came to unblock my drainpipes from General home Services, arrive Saturday lunchtime, half did the job and said his machine stopped working and someone else will have to come out Monday Arvo to finish off. Charged me half the price on the Saturday for half unblocking the pipes. The next plumber came on the Monday and straight away told me that my pipes had co-lapsed, showed me on the camera. Then told me it was a major job costing around $7000. Wanted a Deposit straight away, silly me gave him$1000. Something felt off so I did some digging and found some reviews that weren't good. So I called someone else out and they put a camera down my pipes and told me there was nothing wrong with them.
I think they thought because I was a women, I wouldn't check, but I did. I asked for my money back and was told they had to get permits for the job and there was no money left. I asked for the permits that they said they got, and they sent me an E-mail stating that it was PVC protection permit. Doubt that. Please everyone make sure you don't get stung like me.
