Ordered from the US-based site as the products I wanted were not available on the UK site. This should've been my first red flag. It wasn't. I thought £35 for delivery was ridiculously high, but as I wanted the products, I went ahead with it. Only to find out now almost 3 weeks later that I owe an additional £40 in import fees. I've never paid import fees with other US-based makeup companies so this was quite the shock, especially as that's effectively me now paying 1.5x the value of my purchase to ship it. And when I raised this, I was told that they should've charged me more for shipping (to the tune of double what I paid). This felt like a blackmail response, in all honesty. "Oh, we actually charged you less in shipping, you shouldn't complain about the import fees" was what I got out of this.Incredibly poor customer service. Appalling. And what felt like blackmail to shut up and not complain about paying 1.5x the value with import fees?Incredibly shady business practices, wholly unethical and I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.Stick to Pat McGrath - better quality makeup and you won't pay import fees. After the import fees with Profusion, you've effectively paid Pat McGrath pricing anyway.
