To pass the PMP exam I highly recommend you take the Project Management Academy Boot Camp Course. I do not believe I would have passed the exam without first taking the course. The instructor is top notch he kept the class very up-beat and emphasized that we all were going to pass the PMP test on the First try. He moved through the presentation of information at the classes learning speed, not too fast or too slow. He focused the need to both read the PM Bok book several times and to use all of the tools the PMA provides on their learning web site (the site is excellent it has all of tools practice tests and specific knowledge areas required to pass the exam). He walked us through how to get onto the PMA site and then through each of the learning areas so we saw and could ask questions. To give us an idea of the types of questions that we could see he went through about 200 questions. At the end we took a practice exam that provided a snapshot of the areas you were weak plus it provided a good representation of how the actual 4 hour test would be like. If you want to pass the PMP exam your first time take the PMA Boot Camp Course as a stepping stone to get there.
