My two weeks of volunteering on the Older Person's Conservation and Community project in the Galapagos wasn't long enough! No sooner have you started to find your way around and feel like you're doing something useful, than you have to leave! That said, it was a well organised project and although we had to work quite hard, we did also get the opportunity to see some wonderful wildlife and experience working with members of the good-natured San Cristobal community.It was a great experience, but we did still have to pay quite a lot for the privilege.
