I used Propp for a mortgage last year and initially had a good experience with the broker (Matt), so I decided to use them again. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly.When applying for a bridging loan, I provided all the necessary information, but the broker misunderstood and passed incorrect details to the lender. The process took 6 months instead of 2, and when I raised concerns, I was simply told I could go elsewhere—knowing full well that would delay things further. Even after securing the loan, there were issues due to a lack of proper explanation from the broker.Despite this, I gave Propp one last chance for a Buy to Let mortgage. Again, the urgency was ignored. I assumed the application had been submitted, but found out it hadn’t. I was then told on Friday it wouldn’t be done until after the weekend, and was again advised to try another broker if I wanted it faster knowing that would not be feasible.The only positive was a staff member named Tev, who was genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Propp was disorganised and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.
