EDIT: After reaching out up about my experience for a second time (after I posted this review), my case was looked at again and this time my money was refunded. Updated from 1 to 3 stars for getting my money back.I signed up for Prosper Health with the hope of understanding myself better and diving into my recent diagnosis. While the onboarding was easy, I was notified that Prosper Health would not accept my insurance. I decided that it was worth it for me to pay out-of-pocket for a couple months since I had been looking for a therapist for a while. The first two sessions I had with my therapist went okay with a primary focus on onboarding and getting to understand where I am at in my diagnosis. However, after that second session things went downhill. Ahead of my third session my therapist canceled last minute (within the hour before my session) for a personal issue. While a bit frustrating, I understand that life happens and there may be extenuating circumstances. But, before my next session, my therapist asked to change my meeting to a different date. For me this was okay, since I currently have a flexible schedule. What was not okay was that they proceeded to cancel last minute again after I had rearranged my schedule. This time they canceled within 5 minute before the session and then asked me to reschedule to my original date and time. I found this especially frustrating since Prosper Health has very strict cancelation policy for their patients, which requires cancelation a minimum of 5 days before the session to prevent any sort of fee. This is more strict than any other doctor I have seen in the past. When I reached out to Prosper Health, they dismissed the issue, saying the provider cancelations were within their policy. Proposer Health comes across as a money making corporation rather than an organization that prioritizes patient wellbeing. I will not be returning and recommend interested patients research the therapist they choose in depth before committing to meet.
