I took my car to this garage for new tyres and to resolve a tracking issue. During the visit, I was told the lower suspension arms were worn and needed replacing. I agreed to this work, along with a new rear TPMS sensor, bringing the total bill to £960.

After collecting the vehicle, the car was still pulling to the left — the original issue I went in for had not been resolved. On top of that, the tyres had not been fitted correctly. Each tyre has a balance marking that should be aligned with the valve to minimise or eliminate the need for weights, yet this hadn’t been done. I could also still feel a rumbling through the steering wheel and a noticeable knock when driving over uneven ground.

I returned the car and left it with them for the day, clearly asking them to rectify the tyre fitting, the tracking issue, and the TPMS fault. I did not authorise any additional work at that stage — I simply wanted the vehicle properly diagnosed so that if further suspension work was genuinely required, I could make an informed decision and approve it accordingly.

When I collected it again, nothing had changed. The tyres were still not corrected, the car was still pulling to the left, and the TPMS warning light was still on.

At this point, they told me the brake discs were warped — discs that are only 8 months old. I contacted the supplier who provided the discs, and they advised it would be highly unlikely for them to warp in such a short period.

I contacted the garage for a third time asking them to properly diagnose the problem. Instead of carrying out a thorough investigation, they seemed completely set on blaming the discs for all the issues.i don’t believe warped discs will pull my car to one side, I may not be a mechanic, but I do understand how warped discs behave. Warped discs cause vibration under braking and a slight steering wobble when driving — they do not cause constant pulling, slight knocking over uneven ground, or ongoing rumbling while driving normally. I’m not denying the discs could have some issue, but to suggest they are responsible for everything without properly investigating feels like a convenient excuse rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the fault. So I left with no intention on returning.

What frustrates me most is the lack of accountability. Once they had taken payment the level of customer service dropped significantly. Rather than properly diagnosing the issue and standing behind their work, I was met with deflection and repeated excuses.

I chose this company because of their reputation and multiple garages across Ashford, Kent. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. My original problem remains unresolved, I’ve been inconvenienced multiple times, and I have lost confidence in both their workmanship and their aftercare.
I will be pursuing a partial refund for the tyres and a full refund for the tracking.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this garage to anyone.
