Confusing webpage - tried to order hot cups - accidentally ordered 500 lids for £36 inc VAT- not the 500 cups I thought - see the webpage and order confirmation screen shots. Called and emailed, with initial humour, to try to resolve my error, quickly turned sour due to tone, volume and attitude of customer service person who escalated and heightened the situation negatively - I matched him - he took it up to a combative row! I explained was looking for new supplier, hoping to resolve so I could feel confident ordering more and regularly. This was lost on Dan. Despite screenshots showing why I was confused by their ordering system online, was told 'literally thousands' of people manage this wirh zero issues. He said he could not say the webpage and the order confirmation were confusing as that would be 'admitting liability'. Handed to manager - Matt - who was listening to Dan's side. I advised Matt to listen to the wholr call as this was all an unnecessarily horrible experience. I said I would write in. Matt chuckled and said it was pointless as it would just come to him. Lovely!
