I have nothing but negative things to say about my experiences with this company. We discovered we had a problem with rats coming into our home under the floor boards and upon doing a quick google search I stumbled upon Quick Pest Control. I phoned them and spoke to Hussam who was very quick to reassure me and give me a quote over the phone which seemed reasonable. He turned up and following an inspection claimed we had an infestation of rats (I now completely refute this). The price he had quoted me on the phone suddenly tripled in price (funny that) but more importantly he told me it was not possible to stop the rats coming in without taking up all the floorboards in our house and sealing all the holes and burrows. This was a complete nightmare and was going to cost tens of thousands of pounds. It caused us a huge amount of distress and we have since learned this was all complete rubbish. QPC charged just shy of £600 for 1 initial treatment plus 5 follow up visits. Unfortunately despite being punctual for the first follow appointment standards started to slip. They missed appointment times and then failed to show entirely for their last visit and never returned. Yes the poison they laid worked. The rats died under our floor boards but the smell was unbearable for weeks and the problem kept repeating itself. We knew this was not sustainable. We since contacted another Pest Control company who were only interested in finding out where the source of the problem was and said poisoning is a pretty useless long term solution. This was music to my ears. They fitted one way valves on our drain / sewerage pipes and asked me to gravel around my decking in my front garden. The problem is now resolved and for a fraction of the price QPC charged us. It was such a simple fix in the end and completely contrary to what we were told initially. We love our home and were nearly forced to move out because of callous and misleading treatment and advice.In short, Quick Pest Control only want your money and play on customers desperation. As soon as they take your cash they don't even bother committing to their treatment plan. They are 100% not interested in fixing the source of the problem and cause you a lot of distress. Please, please make sure you find a pest control company who want to find out where the source of the problem is and, if you are told something that's unachievable and that poisoning is the only option do not believe it. There are people who actually care and who can fix your issue.Please AVOID this company!
