I scheduled a move for November 28th in the 3pm-5pm window. Their dispatcher called to inform me they would be late and rescheduled for 6pm-7pm. I had a banquet at 7pm, but I wasn't overly concerned since a prior move took less time. I had previously received a 5% discount for being a disabled veteran, and they offered another 5% for the delay. However, the movers arrived at 6:35pm and started the clock at 6:45pm, which led to a frustrating experience. I missed the banquet where I was to be honored, and I had only a small apartment's worth of items to move. Despite having two high-speed elevators, it took them excessively long to load my things. I discovered my items left in the lobby, and they were moving them one piece at a time, resulting in additional charges for extra hours. I ended up missing my event and had to clean the apartment the next day, which disrupted my plans. As a disabled veteran reliant on medical transportation, I'm now left in an empty apartment without essentials due to a snowstorm halting services. Thank you for making this an incredibly challenging time in my life.
