n 7th December 2021, my wife was driving her car on an unlit road and a car coming the other way had full beam on. She was temporarily blinded. She swerved away from the on coming car and struck the pavement on the front right wheel. This set off the airbags and the passenger air bag broke the windscreen. A passer by called the police as my wife was dazed. The other car did not stop. When the Police arrived, they checked the insurance and ITV. All was in order. I arranged to have the car Gruared to a friends home. A few days later, a representative of Qualitas Autos, contacted me. I explained what had occurred. I told them that I was going back to Scotland for Christmas and I would deal with the replacement windscreen on my return( Covered by the Insurance). Due to illness, I got the car to a windscreen replacement service on the 7th of March 2022. As the vehicle was out of its ITV from the middle of February, I had the car taken by Grua to the windscreen replacement company. The windscreen was replaced. Despite the fact that the car was still insured, Qualitas Autos have declined to pay for the replacement, as there was no ITV on the car when it went to have the windscreen replaced. I have since messaged them and telephoned them but they take no notice. I have twice asked them to call me back with someone that speaks English. They promised they would call the next day. They never did. I unfortunately have a second car insured with them and wish I hadn't used them at all. They are the worst Insurance Company I have had the misfortune to deal with after 16 years in Spain.
