The entire investor outreach initiative was expertly managed by the team. Investors were selected thoughtfully, and all logistics, introductions, and follow-ups were executed so well that every discussion felt intentional. Our financial model was refined impressively, which impressed both our internal staff and outside investors. We received concise summaries about each person we were meeting prior to every call, allowing us to steer discussions confidently. Ultimately, the professional execution ensured that fundraising supported our growth rather than hindered it.
I feel compelled to share my experience regarding the company, which has proven to be fraudulent. They lack a genuine network and rely on platforms to gather investor details for cold outreach. They took access to my domain and automated the outreach process. I lost $4000 trusting the representative. The team managing communications seemed uninformed about finance. I advise others to steer clear of these individuals who profit off the hard-earned money of others. The founders should be ashamed of deceiving fellow founders and should face consequences.
Our financial model felt solid until the company prompted us to reassess our main assumptions. This led to a much more compelling narrative that quickly gained traction with investors. Once outreach began, we noticed an increase in response rates, and discussions became constructive rather than just exploratory. The entire process was genuinely collaborative and beneficial.
A big thank you to the representative for diving into our materials and identifying several areas where the story and numbers didn't align. After we made those adjustments, investor calls became much more substantive. People started asking genuine questions. The approach wasn't flashy; it was straightforward advice that I needed after staring at that deck for months. The team didn’t attempt a major overhaul but made necessary tweaks until everything aligned. It felt like collaborating with someone right beside me rather than a formal process. It worked.
I resonate with others regarding the misleading promises of a 'money back' guarantee for lack of meaningful conversations. I had just one in a year, and I even provided them with a list of contacts as they seemed to run out of ideas. Reporting was inadequate, lacking detail. I had to provide the outbound copy as they repeatedly got it wrong. I regret trusting them, especially given my background in CRM. The fundamental rule is that poor data yields poor results. They don’t have warm leads; it’s a scattergun approach. Completely pointless, particularly for an early-stage startup.
We have been collaborating with the team to secure funding. Although we haven't found a definitive investor yet, the team's professionalism and hard work have been evident throughout. Their process is transparent and has generated numerous leads. We've engaged with investors globally whom we would not have connected with otherwise. They also assisted us in refining our pitch. My only minor concern is the use of an email from the 'founders,' but I understand how that could help during outreach.
The pre call reports were the most beneficial component. I could enter every meeting with existing knowledge of an investor's history and their typical investment criteria. My focus was directed at demonstrating our compatibility, rather than using valuable time during the call to uncover that information.
Qubit has done a good job of automating outreach so that they can connect us with hundreds of potential investors and then provide hands-on help with the parties that have expressed interest. The team is responsive and we've been excited to work with them!
