After several months of contacting Wickes about a kitchen extractor that they failed to secure to the wall correctly, and constantly being fobbed off by them, it’s the last time I will spend 12 thousand pounds on a new kitchen from them. I contacted Quick fix in York, after only a few days the gentleman came to my house, assessed the job and said he could easily fix it and would be back in a day or so, he came last Saturday and within an hour he had replaced the 2 one inch plasterboard screws that Wickes had used and replaced them with a more robust securing, all done in a friendly manner and he also cleaned up as he went along, brilliant job well done. The people on the end of the phone were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. This is a great company to deal with, I wish I had known them years ago, and will certainly be my first port of call for future work.
