My experience with Quintain Living has been nothing short of frustrating. They present themselves as transparent and tenant-friendly, but the reality is very different. The team often makes claims that don’t match the tenancy agreement, and when questioned, they become dismissive and borderline threatening. For example, they insist you cannot pay by credit card even though the tenancy agreement clearly states otherwise.They also overcharge for the smallest things. If you need to extend even slightly, they suddenly add around 33% extra, which makes absolutely no sense. They advertise “no hidden fees,” yet there seem to be hidden charges for absolutely everything. Even if you are living here they bring people into your home, your private space to view the place.What makes it worse is the behavior of the staff. They are consistently unhelpful, curt, and honestly some of the rudest people I’ve dealt with in housing. Emails go unanswered for days, sometimes over a week but the moment they need something, they expect an instant reply from you and will pressure you aggressively. They’ve even made comments implying they’ll cut off WiFi if rent is delayed by a very short period. It feels less like customer service and more like intimidation.The prices they charge are definitely not worth it for the service you receive. Between the lack of professionalism, poor communication, hidden fees, and the constant sense of being talked down to or threatened, I honestly cannot recommend living here. There are many better, more respectful property companies out there.
