I’ve shopped at Oakland Rainbow location many times and have usually had a great experience, but my most recent visit was very disappointing because of the manager, Gloria. While explaining the store’s exchange policy, she spoke to me without ever looking up and continued doing other tasks, which came across as extremely dismissive and disrespectful. When I asked if she could at least address me directly, she responded that she had already said it multiple times. That is not the level of professionalism I expect from a manager.
I do want to recognize Alexis, who was kind, respectful, and genuinely tried to help me exchange a dress for a different size. Her customer service was excellent and made the situation a little better.
